Kris Bernal on her 14th showbiz anniversary: "Reach for the star and keep your feet on the ground."
Kris Bernal shared what she learned in showbiz and her journey in the industry on her 14th anniversary.
Kris started her showbiz career when she joined StarStruck, the original reality-based artista search on TV.
The actress and entrepreneur won the "Ultimate Female Survivor" title in the fourth season of StarStruck.
On her Instagram post, Kris shared some photos that showed journey in showbiz.
She also wrote what she learned in the industry with the popular tagline of StarStruck--"Dream. Believe. Survive."
"Dream it. Everything begins in the heart and mind.
"Believe it. Yes, your dream needs to be big.
"Survive it. Only those with resilience and the willingness to persevere will pass the test."
According to the former Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko actress, she persevered even though she went through a series of failed auditions in order to reach her dream to be an actress.
"A series of failed auditions until.. Dream! Believe! Survive! Starstruck!
"Today marks my 14th year anniversary in the showbiz industry! To become an actress was my ultimate dream and I had written it in my slam book when I was only 10!"
She also defined her journey as a result of her dedication with the support of her family.
"It's definitely hard work, perseverance, and prayers! Not to mention the support from family, friends, and fans!"
In the last part of her caption, Kris reiterated that dreams can come true if you work hard for it.
She also stressed about staying humble despite the success.
"Everyone has dreams and the wonderful thing is, nothing is impossible.
"Some people never try. Make sure you're one of those people who never really stops.
"Reach for the star and keep your feet on the ground."
Kris is recognized for her roles in different Kapuso shows including Little Nanay (2015), Impostora (2017), Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko (2018), Hanggang Sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko (2019).
